Concrete colour and texture can vary because natural aggregates are involved, so view a current physical sample when appearance matters. The base matters more than the paver alone

Remove soft or organic material, provide full and even bearing, and establish drainage away from the building. Adbri’s 75 mm compacted road base, 20 mm bedding sand and approximately 3 mm joint references are a general residential paving example only, not a universal equipment-pad specification. Soil, drainage, equipment load, vibration and anchoring may require another support system or a purpose-designed slab.

For an isolated equipment pad, prepare a compacted, free-draining support area beyond the paver edges and use a thin, uniform levelling layer so the underside does not rock on high spots or bridge voids. Set the final level before commissioning and have the relevant installer confirm that drainage, connected services, clearances and any anchoring requirements are satisfied.
