How to Install Proper Retaining Wall Drainage
To ensure your wall lasts a lifetime, follow this drainage structure:

Aggi Pipe: Lay a slotted agricultural pipe at the base of the wall (behind the blocks).

Gravel Backfill: Cover the pipe with at least 300mm of free-draining aggregate (gravel) directly behind the wall to allow water to drop straight down.

Geotextile Fabric: Wrap the gravel backfill in landscape filter fabric to prevent mud and soil from clogging the gravel and the pipe.
